We are happy to welcome Udeni Appuhamilage to our expanding team of clinical psychologists!
Udeni obtained her academic and clinical training from the US and Australia. She has worked with universities, humanitarian organizations and state institutions for more than a decade as a clinician, clinical supervisor and a clinical trainer. Her key clinical expertise are trauma work, depression and self-harm behaviours.
Udeni works with both adolescents and adults, and with a range of clinical issues, primarily depression, anxiety and self-harm behaviours. Her primary approach to therapy is humanistic, which she combines primarily with cognitive behavioural therapy and dialectical behavioural therapy.
Udeni is fluent in English and Sinhalese.
Udeni is available on Sundays for appointments for psychotherapy.
